That's not our book. We just think it's a really intriguing photo generated by AI and we don't want to replace it.

The first book was about fighting. The next book is about building. This time, we do it together.

About Me

Hello, my name is Jimmy Grey. I was a war zone humanitarian in the Ukraine War and before that I documented the Yazidi Genocide in Northern Iraq. My work can be found on my Youtube Channel here.

When I was in college, I survived the Isla Vista mass shooting in 2014. That timeframe also coincided with the rise of polarized politics in the United States. And as I was recovering from my trauma, I watched in horror as the far-right and far-left tore my country apart.

As a former wrestler, I am not someone who backs down and avoid problems. I meet it head on. So I sought to understand extremism and how to fight it. I wrote "Art of Grey Area Thinking" after I returned from Ukraine in 2022.

I believe that all extremism comes from rigid black-and-white thinking patterns. And I hope "Grey Area Thinking" gives young people a fun framework on how to think flexibly without sacrificing integrity.

Today, my humanitarian work is focused mostly on the Iranian people –supporting their fight for freedom against religious fascism. Therefore, my second book will be a graphic novel about "Surena," a great Ancient Persian general.

With my next book, I hope to uplift the Persian people during their darkest hour while showing the world the glory of Pre-Islamic Persia.
